Why Set a Website Strategy?
One of the biggest problems facing businesses today is the sheer volume of choices, tactics, developers, and other elements to the Internet that business owners are faced with on a daily basis.
Just in terms of hosting a website, there are hundreds of companies and registrars, not to mention the dozens of platforms that can be utilized, from WordPress to Magento® to GoDaddy®, just to name a few.
It can be exhausting to even think about all the decisions to be made for successful web marketing.
Sometimes businesses jump right in. They have a website built, try to optimize for search the best they can, maybe start a Facebook page, run some ads on Google Adwords and hope for the best.
While taking action is better than nothing, unfortunately, it is the worst possible approach and is almost certain to fail. At the very least, it is guaranteed to fail on delivering the best possible outcome.
Shooting at a target is challenging enough – but it is nearly impossible to succeed when shooting from the hip at 250 yards away. Plus, it can be a colossal waste of time, energy and financial resources.
