COMMUNITY
At MoxieMen Incorporated, we’re always looking for ways to support the community and give something back by donating time, talent or treasure wherever we can. We believe that if you can help you should, and we’ve tried to live up to that mantra by supporting organizations such as Big Brother Big Sisters, The Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation, and Family Promise of West Michigan, among others.
Three and a half years ago, I was introduced to Molly Klimas of Intent PR, a well established PR firm here in Grand Rapids. At the time, Molly was looking for help with a new project, The Grand Jazz Fest. The Grand Jazz Fest is, as the name suggests, a free jazz festival held annually at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.
Now in it’s fourth year, the festival has grown from a single day event to a weekend long attraction that brings 10,000 people to downtown GR. This year the event has even expanded to include more street vendors than ever before, providing an even better selection of food and beverages for fest-goers’ enjoyment. This year’s festival is this coming weekend (August 15 & 16).
MoxieMen Incorporated is proud to be a bronze sponsor of the festival and we’re honored to have been awarded the privilege of building the new version of their website. This donation is our way to give back to the community and support a positive, family-friendly event in our city. If you’re free this weekend and looking for something fun and different to check out, the Grand Jazz Fest is an excellent time to get out and enjoy downtown GR.
